What personal data we process and why

Contact form and e-mail communication

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide – in particular your name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message. We use this data solely to handle your request and for related communication.

  • Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in handling the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Retention period: for the time needed to handle the request and then for no more than 12 months, unless a contractual relationship arises from the communication.

Website operation (log files)

The web server automatically records technical data needed to operate and secure the site – IP address, browser type, date and time of access and the URLs visited. This data is used to ensure the functionality, security and protection of the site against misuse.

  • Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention period: generally up to 30 days, longer only when investigating a security incident.

Who the data may be disclosed to

Personal data may be disclosed to our processors who provide technical services on our behalf:

  • the web hosting and server infrastructure provider,
  • the e-mail service provider,
  • providers of website analytics tools (where activated based on your consent).

We do not provide data to third parties for marketing purposes and we do not sell it. Any transfer to third countries (outside the EU/EEA) may only take place through services that provide appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right:

  • to access your data and obtain a copy of it,
  • to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data,
  • to erasure of the data where there is no longer a reason to process it,
  • to restriction of processing,
  • to data portability,
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal,
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava (dataprotection.gov.sk).
